Cisco 1900 Series Router- Perfect Router for Your Business

Cisco 1900 Integrated Services Router Series have Cisco 1905, Cisco 1921, Cisco 1941 and Cisco 1941W routers in it. These routers are designed with extra features as compared to Cisco 1800 Series Routers. These routers are designed in a modular way that if required then extension is possible by inserting cards.  These routers are designed with energy efficient and high speed multicore processors that give high performance services. WAN connectivity is possible with T1\E1. T3\E3, 802.11a/g/n, xDSL and copper Gigabit Ethernet. Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet ports are also embedded in these routers. IOS image installed in these routers have the features of IOS Firewall, IOS IPS and IOS content filtering.

Authentication Authorization Accounting

Authentication is the process that authenticates the digital identity in the network. The authorization process ensures that either the identity is allowed to perform the action or not. Authorization is the second process after authentication. In short authorization process is similar like the computer process, that which user is allowed to access the specific file. IP address filtering, route assignment, address assignment and control of bandwidth are the function of these processes. The third process is Accounting, that keeps track of users activities and the consumption of network resources by users. If authentication or authorization process causes failure then Accounting process keeps record of that.

Cisco IOS

The IOS installed in these routers has many security key features in it. The Intrusion Preventing System provides updates about the threats that may cause damage to the data and improves employee productivity. The other security feature in these routers is the IOS Content Filtering which protects our system from the web-based harmful threats. The security feature is to be enabled by the administrator that which of the content should be filtered and not allowed access over network. Cisco

Connectivity Technology

In the Cisco 1900 routers series, model Cisco 1941 has the extra feature of wireless connectivity while all the other models in series have only wired connectivity technique in them. Wireless connectivity allows administrator to move around freely in the coverage area and still remains connected to network and can access router for configurations.
