Backup Tape log is the feature of backup application that keeps record when backup process is performed. This record can be useful troubleshooting tool when there is problem in backup process. During the backup process if any error occurs, the log will record the error messages created by the backup application when error occurs. It helps Network Administrator to troubleshoot errors and keep summary data update that which files were retrieved.

2. Event Logs
Event Logs means to keep record of all the errors occurred by software and hardware. Event logging service keeps the record of errors from all sources. When any error occurs the system administrator should find the reason of error, resolve that immediately and make sure that it never occurs again. The API used for event logging keeps record of following 5 event types:

Keep yourself informed about the server disk space usage. How much of disk space is occupied and how much is left empty. In a company where many of employees work, disk space is occupied rapidly. So keep update about disk space usage.
